Take a little break…

I took a break from my routine today. Don’t ask me if that is good or bad. I do not know myself. I realized that my daughter was having foot pain, I wanted to keep it on record and she was not complaining about it, I learnt about it from her dance teacher and I have been getting knee pain too. So thought of taking it easy as our bodies were just getting used to the new routine.

I liked taking the break, mentally I felt fresh, with no stress of getting up at 4.45 am. I woke up by 5.45 am, and I felt fresh and ready to take on the world.

I want to keep it out there that though I woke late, I stuck to my routine of morning meditation and exercise. I want my body and mind to build the habit of starting the day my way, which I have realized works for me.

I have been meditating for over 2 years now. I can sense the change within me. I am more in control of my emotions and I am not reacting to my external environment. This is a big achievement for me.
